Loretta Fox's upcoming book Shadowful Light is a collection of deeply moving poetry. Previously, Loretta's poetry has appeared in national magazines, and her book Walk Her Up the Stairs: A Caregiver’s Healing & Spiritual Journey, published in 2024, is a memoir crafted around poetry that Loretta wrote while caring for her mother through terminal illness. Loretta has worked as a hospice professional, a care manager for senior adults, a preschool teacher, and in a professional capacity within several spiritual settings. She holds a B.A. in English and an M.A. in Religious Studies. Loretta was raised in Philadelphia, and has lived in Glenside, Pennsylvania and in Garrison, Maryland. She is married and has two adult daughters.
